London buses are really good, except of course when they catch on fire. As the above bus did last night on the way up Archway Road. Don't worry, neither I nor the Astronomer were on it. We were about three buses back and ended up walking the last k or 2 home (and I was HUNGRY, so it was not fun). Fortunately no one but the driver was on board at the time. It does make you wonder though ...
